There is to be a new Irish invasion of the House of Commons. So many people have of late demanded Sir JOHN POWER & CO'S IRISH WHISKEY, that the Kitchen Committee have, I am given to understand, made up their minds that the sale of spirituous liquors in the Falace of Westminister (un- Riceased) is to be increased by the illegal supply of popular measures of that well- known Dublin brand. The agitation for the inclusion of Powe's Whiskey in the lists of liquors, suppiled at the House buis was, I may mention, started so far back as the bugianing of last session. It was purely a matter of taste not of trade, and up to the present date Sir JOHN POWER & Co, were in blank Ignorance of the whole affair."
