One soon learns to look for the small tree, for it is here the flowers are to be opening made by the fall of some giant found, where they can bask in the sunlight. Then too, along come the butterflies, which have only been awaiting the advent of the flowers to make their appearance, and, when some of the blossoms have faded and the frult has ripened, a noisy crowd of birds seem to spring up from no- where to feed upon it, and the shy squirrels and monkeys come gingerly along to take their share when they have assured themselves that the coast is clear.
