In the Assembly on Tuesday Mr. Wm. Stephens, the member for South Bdsbane, ac cased the Goverment of bribery and corruption in connection with the appoiniment of members of the Lands Commission. The Speaker called him to order, and, as he refused to withdraw the expre-alon, named him to the House. Sir H Trzer then moved that he be, suspended from the House for 24 hours, but the mction was lost on the veldre. Slr H. Toser then moved the arjornment of the House. Ernest Wright, chleb bandmaster on HI M.S. Orlando, at Sydsey, was arraigned before s Court-martial on based H.M.S.
