A VERY beautiful fungus is occasionally to be met with this damp bot weather growing in the vicinity of decaying vegetable matter in sheltered situations. The fungus stands about six inches high, and has the apperiance of an ordinary mushrooms or toadstool, the head of which is not fully developed.
