ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING of the SHAREHOLDERS of the shays COMPANY will be held at the COMPANY'S OFFICE, NO, 0, Praya Central, on FRIDAY, the 25th Jane, at NOON, when the subjoined Resolutions, which were passed at the Extraordinary General Meet Ing of the Company held on the 5th June, 1897, will be submtied for confirmation as Special Resolutions:-
(1)-That the Capital of the Company be incressed to the sum et 3500,000 Hongkong Currency by the fasue of thirty thousand .new.shares of ten dollars exch, to be issued ata premium of ten dollars each, such price of ten dollars each and alsɔ such premium of ten dollars eich to te payable in such amounts at such times, and on such cond!- tions as the General Managers shail from time to time determine.
(3)That twenty thousand of such new shares be offered to the persons who an the 1st day of July, 1897, shall be the registered shareholders of the old or talsting shares In the proportion of one new share for every old or exiting sharo and such offer shall be made by smetice sprellying the number of new bares which each sich registered shareholder shall be entitled to take up, and Umlinga ume within which the offer if not accepted in writing will be deemed to be not accepted, and all non-accepted: share shall be disposed of for the beseft of the Company on such conditions as the Gaberal Managers shall determine.
