Of the singing of Mrs. Gordon and Mrs. Hagan we cannot speak in too high terms. Both these ladies were in good volce and both as regards expression and tone

Mr. Grace and Mr. Sliman were also in good voice 'and having selected' pieces suited to their well trained bass and tenor völces their efforts were very highly and deservedly appreciated. There can be no doubt that the audience will feel grateful to Mr. Grimble for arranging such a thoroughly enjoyable recital and very freely and willingly contributed to the orgen fand, in aid of which a collection was mads.
