THE German Groiser Folke, a sister ship to the Bussard, arrived in Port Jackson, Sydney, on the 6th instant, The Falla previously visited Sydney some five months ago. During the interim she has been stationed at Samos, She proceeded direct from Apfa to Auckland, After a short stay at New Zealand she left for Sydney. The early part of the tilp from New Zexland was marked by exceptionally rough weather, in the abape of a violent gule and high sea, during which the vessel's speed was reduced to three knots per hour, and she had a very lively lime while the gale lasted. On arrival at Sydney the vessel proceeded direct to Mon's Dock, where she is to undergo an ex. tensive overhaul to buil and machinery. The

Manils, September 19th.
The rebels attacked the village of Lisa in Batangas, near which is the estate of San Juan Bautista. Manager D. Arturo Mallbran arrived here yesterday morning with bis wife and daughter. All the people in the village fled and went to Malibran's house, where the were followed by about seo rebels, armed with gone, one or two sides, and spears. After some ring the rebels were beaten off. Malibran's Indians the Indian hate the Mestizos-behaved well and stuck to him throughout. After leaving the house on the Hacienda the rebels sacked, the homes in the village.

Mr. A. G. Morris sald--I live at 6g, Wyndham Street.
