The building of the Peking-Hankow Railway has been tecdered for by a'Casten-Peking syndicate and accepted by Princes Kang and Ching, President and Vice-President of Railway Construction. One half the capital will be furnished by the syndicate, and the other half will be placed on the market in Peking, Tientsin, Canton, and Shanghat.
