REVIEW.
HO KAT. WEI YUK.
We have to acknowledge the receipt of a copy from the publishers of "Lamb's International Guide“,” a ponderous volume which we venture to think will soon wend its way into the counting houses and offices of all members of the commercial world. This work has now been twenty-seven year in existence and it is Indeed difficult to suggest any alteration or addition with & Viow to improving it. It is printed in four different languages, Le, English, French, German and Spanish, and the advertisements show that its cliculation in these different countries must be very extensive, In its eighteen hundred pages are to be found the names, addresses and trade marks of all the leading mercantile firms in Europe, America and the Colonies together with an epitomized Inventory of the various goods they deal in and a Bit of their agencies in various parts of the world. There is, as well, a list of the various Steamship Companies and their trade routes, and a list of the principal hotals. The annual compliation of this work must be herculean labour and its cosmopolitan nature ought to specially attract our readers to its pages. It is printed in admirably clear type, and its tout insambla, Is altogether above criticism.
