TAIPING, December gtb. Mr. Kelly," Assistant Magistrato at Tanjong Malim, Perak, died yesterday. He was bitten by a rabid Sakal dog seven weeks ago. Mr. Kelly was a cousin of Mr. E. W. Birch, the Acting Resident.

At the Magistracy this afternoon Mr, Sercombe Smith, Coroner, Investigated the circumstances connected with the scalding to death of a Chinese Breman on board, the Chinese vesmer Chingping on Wednesday last. The Chief of Water Police and several witnesses werd examined and then his Worship found as follows:-That the deceased Yol Kas, met his death by scalding, due to an ecipe of steam whilst the feed-pipe was being disconnected on board the steamer Chingping
