Lovely weather, as was almost as amter of course to be expected, occs/red on the day fived for holding the fifth Gymkhama, and a fairly large number of spectators assembled to witness the afternoon's sport. Among those present during the afternoon were H. E. the Governor General Black, CB, Commodore Boyes, R.N. and an unusually large number of ladies. band of the Rifle Brigade, by the courtesy of the Colonel and Officers, was on the lawn, and enlivened the proceedings by discourstag wery pleasing selecting of music during the lotervalu.

Much interent was taken in the various events the pony racing belag exceptionally splitted. With the course in very good order and the bracing coolness of the air, good times were made. The Ladies' nomination race WAS A source of amusement as uidai.
