Mr. Rerer, in
stated that bis ellents a receiving order against the two petitioned for men, who he had evidence to prove were the only partners in the three firms named, and these men had commited acts of bankrotcy In leavlog the Colony on the 5th and 16th of Auguil, 1895, respectively, to escape their cre ditors. The indebtedness to his client was in the form of two promissary notes, one for $1,000. dated the zard July 1895, and the other for $500. of the same date, and fnterest. He presented affidavits stating that these two men were the only partners, and also evidence to prove that the men bad left the Colony because their Creditors were pressing them. After his lordship had heard this in evidence he asked for a receiving order against the firm and the two partners.
