“OTICE is hereby given that the LIGHT NTCAPE CANI WAS EXHIBITED for

the first time at Sunset on the rat Jandary.

The luminating apparatus Is Revolving Dioptric of the Fourth Order, showing double white flashes at Intervals of half a minute.

The Lighthouse stands about 83 yards north of bigh-water mark on the southernmost point of the islet marked on the charts as Cape Caml; and the Light, which is elevated 67 fost above the level of the sea, should be visible in clear wasther, at a distance of 138-10th mastical miles

lo all directions where it is not obscured

by land.

The tower is an fron screw pile structure, $5 foot high, with a total height from its bass to the lantern vane of 67]-feet.”
