The British steamship Chowfa reports that she left Bangkok on the 14th instant. From to Cape Varella had moderate Kob-si-chang south-westerly winds and fine clear weather with cocasional rain showers. From Cape Varella

Mt. & Mea, A. Findlay-northward increasing north-west winds with rising sea, and when in 16 3odeg, north and long. 110 40 deg, east, encountered a terrific stormi, a typhoon passing westward, and was under its Indionen for 15 hours ; thence to port had strong to moderate southerly winds and aqually weather with rain at times.
