A Mr. Lindus, a resident of Chelmsford, and his wife walted upon a solicitor named Jacobson legal business. During the transaction of this business a quarrel arose, and Lindus produced a revolver, and shot his wife. He then turned upon Jacobs, and shot him also. Neither of the wounds was fatal, but both Jacobs and Mrs. Lindus are in a precasions condition.

The revolutionary movement is extending from Sicily to Italy, and is believed to be fomented by socialists in other countries.
