SAN FRANCISCO, September 24th. The willful explosion of a dynamite bomb last night on the ground floor of a house filled with sleeping sailors, resalted in the instant death of two men and the fearful mangling of four others. The fiendish outrage was the result of the long- standing fends between union and non-union sailors. At 12.20 o'clock an explosion was heard all over the southern part of the city. It was at first supposed that some boller had barst. The telephone wires soon located the scene of the explosion on the south-west side of Main Street, between Folsom and Harrison, and almost Immediately afterwards it was learned that the explosion was das atither to accident nor carelessness.
