In the boxing match between F. P, Slavin and Tim Hall for £500 with purse of £1,000 took place last night at the rooms of the club la London, Slavin bad, his nose broken. London papers to-day are discussing whether Slavin was drunk or had been drugged.
The betting was a to s on Slavin, who was evidently unfit to fight. He was quite unable to resist the attack of his opponent, who, at the outset of the fight, landed a heavy blow on Slavin's jaw. The scheme of reconstruction rubmitted on behalf of the National Bank of Australauis received the sauction of the Supreme Court on Saturday, with only one amendment, which bound the ordinary shareholders down to a 41 per cent dividend, instead of 5 per cent, as originally proposed, until the deposit receipts are paid off.
