The Force will be on the same footing as are Volunteers in England, that is to say: They are liable in case of war to be called up for active service and will then be under military command and subject to military law, receiving the same pay as regularly enlisted soldiers &c. They will not be required to serve cat ol and being entitled to pensions for wounds, &c., the Colony and will be led by their own Officers. In peace time, they are liberty to leave at any time on 14 days notice will only be under military command when voluntarily exercising or on duty together with the regular troops; will be subject to auch regulations as to dri disc line, and efficiency as His Excellency the Governor may appoint, and will be annually inspected by a regularly deputed Military Officer.
