We regret to learn of the death of Mr. John Williams, late chief officer of the steamship Tal-puan, at the Civil Hospital last night. Mr. Williams had not been in the East long, and was only in his 15th year; but he was well liked by these who knew him, and his antimely death is sincerely regretted.
