STEAMERS EXPECTED.

The steamer Shantung left Singapore on the ultimo, and is due here on the 9th instant. The P.&O.S. N. Cow new steamer Regine left Shanghal on the yih instant, and is due here on the oth

The British steamship Cleara reports that she left Saigon on the 5th Instant. Had flue weather and @ast-south-east to south-east widds with smooth sea from port to part.

The German mail steamship: Bayer reports that she left Bremen on the 30th March, and Singapore on the 5th-instant." Had light-warf- able winds and calms with light swell from north- east and on the whole, fine weather.

The British steamship

Gaalle reports that she kama at 4:42 am, on the 5th lortant. Had light left San

Francisco on the 16th ultimo, and Yoko- variable winds and fine weather throughout. Arrived here on the roth at 947 m. Time 5 days, 6 hours and ay minutes.

The P. & O: S. N. Co.'s steamer Brindléh, from Bombay, left Singapore on the 6th Instant, at daylight, and may be expected here on the 12th.

The British steamship Talzang reports that The Chius Shippers Metal S. N. Casshe left Shanghai, ada Swatow, on the 6th inst. passed the Canal on the 28th ultimo, and mayo Padro Blanco had light south-west winds and steamer Ningchow, from London and Liverpoolaire calms and dense fog From Swatow From Shanghal to Swatow had light variable be considered due at Singapore on or about the clear weather; thence to port had thick fog and 18th instant.
