DISTRIBUTION OF HONGUES. Five prisoners convicted at the Mar Sessions were brought up this morning to receive the reward of their exploits.
The Sha Wan pirates, Tan A Lal and Wang Sam, on being. Informed that they had beer convicted by a majvity of five to two, protested that the charge was a shameful fabrication by malicious traducers got up to affect the ruin of honest and worthy citizens. CHIRY JUSTICE O'MALLEY of the Straits Settle ments has been distinguishing himself at the recent Penang Assizes.
