There has been very little business worthy of note since our last report; in fact, stocks remain almost at their previous quotations, and things all round are looking very dull, Operators seem altogether disinclined. for speculation under the present gloomy aspect of affairs.
Banks have remained stationary, but # sales have been effected in them at 235 per cent. for the settlement, at 248, per cent, for. August, and 250 per cent, for, September.....
