29th November, 1890. It is sild here that the Railway Co. have got a credit of Thirty Million Taels (Ti 30,000,000). for the extension of Railways, and that the line between Tientsin and Takt is to be doubled as soon as possible. When this is done the Rail way Company will then be able to take up the steamers' cargoes. from Taku.ga
the top of the Custom Joss House and observe the fleet of merchant vessels lying outside of the Barwalling their tum for lighters. I do not know how much water Australasian Colonies, the United States, and vessels drawing 11 and 12 feet require to cross the United Kingdom, and the scale of charges the Bar, but as the Bar has always foot 6 in. has been--fixed at an exceptionally low rate.
