The British steamship Kutsang reports that she left Calcutta on the roth instant at & a.m. cleared the Hooghly at 3 pm, on the rith passed Table Island at 6 pm, on the oth Sayers Island at 3 p.m. on the 15th, and arrived. in Penang at 5 p.m. on the 16th. Left Penang at 7 pm, on the 17th; arrived in Singapore on the 1911 at noon. Left again for Hongkong on the 22nd; arrived here last night at go'clock. From the Eastern Channel Hightship to lat. 18 north, had fresh wind and a considerable sea, shipping at times beavy water forward, From thers the weather moderated, and we had moderate and light breezes, ranging from south-west to south-east, attended with occasional rain squalls to Pening. Through the Straits had moderate south-east winds and generally uns weather, with the excep❘ tion of a fierce and heavy rain squall at 3 am, on the 18th. From Singapore "to" Hongkong experienced moderate south-west winds to Cape Fadaran; thence to port had light north-east to 'sou.b-east winds and find weather,
