EXTRAORDINAY GENERAL MEETING of the SHAREHOLDERS of this Company will be held at the CITY HALL, Hongkong, on SATURDAY, the 31st day of May next, at noon, for the purpose of considering, and, if approved, of passing the following Resolu- tion:
1-That the Capital of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corportion be increased from $7,500,000 to $10,000,000 by the crea tion of 20,000 New Shares of $125, to be issued at the price of £42 10%. Eastern Shareholders to pay for their allotments at the current rate of the day for Demand Bills on London.
2-That the said New Shares be in the first in-
