The fish steamship Nastor reports that she left Liverpool on the 29th June, and Singa- pore on the 9th instant. From Singapore to Pule Sapatu had moderate winds and fine wea- ther; thence to port had moderate gale from south-westward, with thick dirty weather and high confused sea.
The Hawaiian bark Alicia reports that she left Albany, West Australia, on the roth ultimo. mostly from the east to north-east, then hauling After leaving port had light favorable winds to the north-west, wind increasing, strong gale from the south-west off Cape Lewin. On the 16th hauling to the south, south-south-east and south-east, and fine weather with trade winds. On the 25th passed Java Head; on the 16th in company with the British bark Valkyrien, from Freemantle, W.A., to Hongkong also with the American ship Henrietta, from Philadelphia to Shanghai. Captain Gibson of same ship reports heavy weather, and having lost one man from aloft during the passage. From Arjer had light south-cast to south-west winds up the Java Sea, and strong gales from the south-south- cast in the China Sea, with very heavy rain squalin ; on the 13th, 14th, andʻrgih instant barometer ranging from 29.30 to 19.55:
