REPORTS.
The Chinese steamship Yehrin reports that she left Shanghai on the 15th instant. Had strong north-east monsoon and fine 'weather throughout.
The British steamship Agamemnon reports that she left Yokohama on the 8th instant, Had fresh to strong north-east and northerly wind. with cloudy misty weather throughout.
The Norwegian steamship Johannes Brun reports that she left Haiphong on the 15th instant, passed a waterlogged dismasted junk In the Gulf of Tonquin about 16 miles north of |Nightingale Island, stopped and sent the chief officer on board to ace if any living beings were on board; there being none, the vestel proceeded on her way.
The British steamship Haftan reports that she left Foochow on the 16th instant at 8.30 a.m. Had strong north-east winds with a heavy ses during the passage to Amoy, Left Amoy on the 17th. From Amoy to Swatow had strong north- east winds and rough sea. Left Swatow on the 18th. From Swatow to Hongkong had moderate northerly winds and thick rainy weather and moderate sea.
