5 o'clock. Stocks have been firmer allround to-day, although very little business has been reported. Small sales of Banka have been arranged at 158 per cent. premium for the end of the month, but for cash shares are on offer at 157. Hongkong Fires have "boomed" up from 337 to 335, and are in strong request at the higher rate. The most important transactions have been la China Sugars, which have been placed for the end of the month at 194 and 195 leaving off with sellers at 195, Other quotations speak for themselves,
