WRECK OF THE "GLENCOE." .
LONDON, December 4th. The steamship Glencoe has run ashore at (Hela) Bila? and broken up on the afternoon of 4th instant.
THE Odessa Court delivered judgment on October 18, in the case of the sinking of the iron paddle steamer Elboroos, belonging to the Russian Navy, which was last year run into by the British trading steamer Malkins Tower. Nine sailors of the Elboroos were drowned. The Court sentenced Captain Samuel Tiddy, the master of the Malbins Tower, in contumaciam, to three months' imprisonment, to do the penance prescribed under the Russian Ecclesiastical law, to pay costs to the amount of 150,000 roubles to the Russian Government, and 11,000 roubles to the families of the sailors who lost their lives in
the collision.
