TO-DAY. "THE SHARE MARKET,
5 o'clock.
A fair amount of business in Banks al increased rates has been done since, we Jast wrote. Commencing at 157, sales were booked for cash and the end of the month at intermediate figures up to 100, but there are further shares on the market at that eate. Docks showed great firmness throughout the forenoon, when shares changed hands at 35 per cent. premium; Tut this stock failed to maintain the rise, and closed wank, with sellers for the end of the month at 134. Steamboats have also weakened; business has been put through at 217 for the 31st instant, and probably shares could be obtained at 216. With the exemption of same few transfers of the Wharf and Godown Co.'s scrip at 65 for the end of September, nothing else, has been reported.
