Noon. Business has been rather brisker in the Share Market this morning. Banks have changed hands at 190 premium, and there are further buyers at that rale. Indo- China S. N. China Sugars are rather firmer and have been done at 139 per share. No other transactions came under our notice.

The British gunboat Zephyr 'reports left Foo- chow (Pagoda Anchorage) on the 23rd instant Had strong N.El monsoon,

The British steamship Amatista reports left Manila on the 23rd instant. Had strong E.N.E. gale and high sea throughout,

The German steamship Picciola reports left Singapore on the 18th instant. Had fine wea. ther to Paracels, then had N.E. wind and sea.

The German steamship Iphigenia reports left Hiogo on the 21st Instant. Had rainy weather and light winds to Van Dieman's Straits; thence to port had strong N.E. monsoon.

The Britialt steamship. Phra Chom Klao re- ports left Bangkok on the 19th instant. From Koh-si-chang to Paracels had light variable winds, calm and fine weather with smooth sea. From Paracels to port had hard Easterly gale with heavy squalls and a high confused sea. In Bangkok the stearnship Mongkul.

The British steamship Kong Beng reporta left Bangkok on the 18th instant. From Bangkok to Padaran had light, winds and fine weather throughout. From Padaran to South end of Hainan experienced a heavy gale from the N.W., and high confused sea; thence to port bad a suc cession of heavy N.E. gales and high sea.

This is not the first attempt that this person has made to run a business of this kind without paying a license. Not so long ago he gave Italian Night Entertainments at Kowloon which became a regular haunt of the gay women of the Colony-but-as-a-license to sell drink was refused, both the Illan Entertainments and Mr. HAHN soon came to grief. He afterwards had a so-called Club, where Maiquerade dances were a special attraction, but this also fell through. And now comes this "Captain's Club" for non-residents.
