THIS DAY

Noon, Business has been rather brisker in the Share Market this morning than has been the case of late, although it has to be noted that all the business done has been "on Alme." A sale of Banks at 185 per cent. premium was reported to have taken place late yesterday afternoon, but we have been unable to trace the transaction, and merely give the report for what it may be worth, The stock is still offering at 187. A fairly large business in China Sugars has been put through at 141 for October 31st, and 142 for the end of December, the stock leav ing off weak with sollers at 140 for cash, Luzons have been done at 75, 76, and 76) for the end of the month, 77 and 78 for December 31st, and are now offering at 76 for cash. Nothing in other stocks re- quires special mention.

.:

4 o'clock p.m. Since noon Banks have changed hands at 186 per cent." premium. A large business has been done in China Sugars at quotation, and there are further sellers at the rate: Nothing else came under our notice.
