THIS DAY.
Noon. Business sull continues, quiet" "în "the" Share Market. Banks have been done at -200 per cent. premium for August 31st; North and 21 for the end of October. China are now on offer at Taels 1575. Nothing in other stocks requires special I mention.
4 o'clock p.m. Since noon Banks have gone down considerably in public favor, shares having changed finnds at 201, the stock leaving off exceedingly unsteady, with further sellers at that reduced rate. A few tran sactions in Docks at 63 per cent. premium have been reported, and we think that more shares could be obtained at that price. Business generally is very quiet, and quotations remain unchanged.
