The British steamship Phra Chula Chou Kino reports left Bangkok on the zand instant. The first part had fresh SW gale with heavy rains and confused son to Pulo "Obi; thence to port had light Southerly winds and fine weather.
The British steamship Tannadice reports left Sydney on the 5th instant, at 8 p.m.; called off Cape Moreton for Brisbane passengers atóp.m. on the 7th, and after calling at Keppel Jay; arrived in Townsville at 4.30 p.m., on the roth, and left again at 6 a.m. on the tith, and anived off Cooktown at 8 am, on the 12th, and left again at 4.30 p.m., same day j arrived at Thurs- day Island at p.m., on the 14th, and left again at 6 pm, on the 15th arriving at Port Darwin nt a pan, on the 18th, and left on the 19th passed through Basilan at p.m., p.m. on the 34th, and arrived in Hongkong at p.m., on the 28th making the passage from Port Darwin in 8 days and 21 hours. Experi- enced fresh head winds and fine weather to Kep- pel Bay; thence to Cooktown had moderate S
S.E. and Easterly winds and showery; thence to port had light variable winds and fine weather, At 1 am, on the 23rd, passed a steamer, hound to the S.S.E., supposed to be the Gordon Castle, from Hongkong to Australia.
