The British steamship Diamante reports left Manila on the 28th instant. Had moderate, N. Easterly breeze and fine weather throughout.
The British steamship, Japan pose Calcutta on the 15th instant, Penang on the 22nd, and Singapore on the 24th; arrived in Hongkong on the 30th. From Singapore to lat.. 16 North had light Northerly wind and fine wes- ther; from thence to port had moderate NE
wind and fine weather.
The American steamship City of Tokie re- ports left San Francisco on the 24th February at 2.40 p.m. To 13th March had fresh to mode. rate Westerly winds and N.W. swell; then to 18th had strong N.W. gales and high sea; then to 20th had hard gales from the E.N.E. to North, with heavy squalls. Arrived in. Yoko- 61 hama on the 21st at 8.45 p.m.; sailed from Yo- kohama on the 24th at 6.25 am. To Turnabout had variable winds and fine weather, and thence to Hongkong had light monsoon arrived in Hongkong on the 30th at 4.40 p.m., 6 days, I hours, and 38 minutes from Yokohama.
