·Banks are considerably weaker in the market this morning, shares having changed hands at 190 per cent. pre- mium for the end of April, and a fur- ther supply is on offer at the same rate. Cashbuyers are offering 185. Hong-ANCHISES, British steamer, 1,304, C. Jackson, kong Fires keep rising in, price and firm- ness, sales having been, effected at $1225 per share; further offers to buy at the same figure had not been supplied when our report left. Nothing in other stocks requires special notice.
4 o'clock p.m. Some interesting movements in various stocks have been reported since we last wrote. A reaction quickly set in in favor of Banks and considerable time business has been put through at slightly better rates. After all the shares offered at 199 for April had been taken up, offers to sell at 192 for May 31st were quickly
