THIS DAY.

Noon. Very litle business has been done in the Share Market this morning. Banks are still

very firm and are Improving steadily. No cash transactions have been putthrough, but shares have changed hands at 202 prem. ium for the end of March, and are now wanted at 203 for March 31st, and 205 for the end of April. Hongkong Fires are in. demand at $1,165 per share, but no shares are to be had at that figure, Docks have slightly improved their position and are wanted at 51 premium. The "dry rot" which has set in in Luzong still continues, the stock now being on offer at $105 for the end of the month, without inducing buyers to come forward. Other stocks remain as per annexed list.

4 o'clock p.m. Since noon an extensive time business has been done la Banks at 202 for the end of the month, and zog for March 31st, the stock leaving off firm at these rates. There are also buyers at 207 for April 30th.|| Luzons have changed hands at 104 for the end of the month, and there are further sellers at the rate. Nothing else of special Importance has come under our observa-

tion.
