Commercial.
THIS DAY.
4 o'clock p.m. There is very little business of import- ance to report from the Share Market to day. Banks have not been inquired after, China Traders' scrip has jumped from 1610 to 1650, and transfers have been ef- fected at the latter quotation. The shares of the China and Manila Steam Ship Company are on the market at 120. Hotels have changed hands at 130, the stock leaving off very firm with buyers at that rate, China Sugars have been nego- ciated at 208 for March 31st, but there are still sellers at 206 for cash and 207 for the end of the month. Nothing else of special interest has come under our notice.
