This term, like many others, bears a different interpretation in these days to that formerly given to it. To speak now of a man as "an adventurer" is almost to describe him as a chevalier d'industrie. The name bore a difer- SCENE-A Police Court. The attendance was hardly so numerous as might have been expected, still some 35 enthusiastic sons of "the land of the mountain and the flood" sat down to a well arranged cold collation under the pre- sidency of the lion. P. Rysic, who honored the occasion by appearing in the garb of Old Gaul."
