It is proposed that a CORPS of VOLUNTEER ARTILLERY should be formed to be commanded by an Officer of the Royal Artillery whose Ser vices will, by permission of His Excellency the MAJOR GENERAL COMMANDING, be available for this purpose in the event of a sufficient num- ber of Names being enrolled.

Information respecting the assistance which Government is prepared to offer with the view of encouraging the formation of a NEW CORPS will be obtained on Application to the Acring COLONIAL SECRETARY.
