At 5 pm, wind increased tutyphoon force, and veering from E, X.E to E. and S. A 10.30 pm, wind flecreasing, at „ am, moderate breeze and cloudy weather, hove up and procended to Swatow, sighted Swedish tig Kristina Nilsson, distasted off Chapel Island, and towed her in to Amoy, Left Amoy at 1 pm. for Swatow. Passed a quantity junkwreckage, and a ship of Knob Island, with main topmast gone. Arrived in Swatow on the 17th, and left again on the 18th. Passed the steamship Awangtung aff Breaker Point. In Foochow the steamships Oakdale and Minard Castle la Amoy the steamships Castelte al Carisbrooke, In Swa. tow the steamships Teichew, Tientsin, Chin- ting, Hae-chin, Serwo, and Pokien.
