Os the 5th inst, we published a report, which we received from a reliable source in Macao, that a mutiny had occurred with serious loss of life on board the Portaguese troop-ship Africa during her voyage from that port to Lisbon. We bear this morning that, although the report referred to was freely circulated and generally believed in Macau, it had no tangifte foundation in fact, That some disturbances occased on board the Africa is not denied, but there is little doubt that the report current in Maczu was a mere canard unworthy of credence. The Africa, we are informed, has arrived at Lisbon, but beyond the fact of her safe arrival no news of consequence has been telegraphed.
