There is very little to report from the Share Market in the shape of actual busi- „ness to-day, if we except a strong move- ment in Docks which has given quite an impetus for that stock. Very large cash transactions at 53 per cent. premium have been booked, the stock closing firm with buyers at the quptation. A few Steam- boats have changed hands at 231 per share premium, and “imore shares could doubt- less be obtained on the same terms. The le Company's stock has bera made the

medium of some small transactions at 131 for cash, and at this rate a slight demand still exists. Hotels have been negotiated at tog for the end of the month, but not to. any considerable extent. Other quotations remain unchanged.
