Notice is hereby given, that TEN- DERS for the PRIVILEGE of PRE- PARING and SELLING PREPARED OPIUM within the Colony for the term of ONE, TWO, or THREE YEARS from the 1st of March, 1882, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 2 of 1858, No. 1 of 1859, and No. 7 of 1879, will be received at this Office until Noor on MONDAY, the 24th October, 1881.
Fach Tender should specify the monthly payment offered for the period above-mentioned."
The Government does not bind itself to accept the highest or any Tonder.
Should the highest Tender be less than the sum the Governor thinks a fair price for the Opium Farm, His Excelloucy in Council will graut Li- cences direct under Section 3 of the Ordinance, and take such further stops as may be necessary to realize a fair price.
