When answering questions, one should bear in mind the logical deduction of any observation. Take for example, la man cannot get through the hole because he is fat is not accurate enough. Reason: more auxin are collected to the right hand side of the stem. This is due to the diffusion of it from the tip down to the agar block and then into the stem below under the effect of gravity.

Reason: auxin that diffused down from the apex would then diffuse away from the light source and makes the shaped side to grow faster than the other side.
