or account of the Imperial Part office and It will be observed that the Revenue of the Hongkong. Post Office is collected partly partly on account of the Colony, whilst the Colomy bears all the cost of collection, except, since the !! March 1868, £100 a contributed by the Imperial. Pat office towards the valary of the Portmanter Isenmal, £:100 travelling expenses and £1190 a year towards the manterance of the Patal Agencies at the Ports in China and Japond.
The Money Order system between Houghing and the United Kingdom commenced for the 14th October 1862. The Local Money Order system:
commenced on the 2000 November 1868.
The Cost of Collection of the Money Order Revenue is included in the general cost of the Department.
