from the Board of Prade representing that the Futurus sent home from

the Colonies are on many casco very defective, and fointing out in what manner

the deficiencies and cors brought to notice might hereafter be more easily made good

errors

and corrected.

In reply I have the hover to requaint your Lordship, in reference to the suggestion, specially made by the Board of Trade, that I have instructed the Harbor Master, M. Thomseth, was is charged with the

preparation of the Returns, in question,

to communicate directh, with the Board of Trade on all matters relating therets, and, that I have arranged with the Representatives of Foreign Governments, in the Colony for the transmision to the Harbor Master of trustworthy particulars relating to accidents to Foreign Ships.
