I have been requested by the Direction of "The Great Northern Telegraph, China and Japan letension Company" to solicies Her Majestyp Government permision to land a Cable on the Island of Hong Kong and to establish a Telegraph Station at Victoria. I beg leave to enclose a Prospectus, containing all particulars about the lines contemplated by the above Company.
