工人始作工之月工
承允在東方煤炭公司做煤炭工夫別樣工作必須時時依例做足工夫及恭敬順從限以

大員若不能做工每日扣同三十個先士如日後該利布晏地方之督憲大人
取一百箱之煤炭每箱有五百斤之重者又加賞銀一大員 當盡之物每箱合共加賞十三個先士若該工人連做二十日工夫不歇卽加賞工銀五十個先士若連做二十日之內能 允悅各工人若能取得五百斤一箱凈煤炭每箱加賞十個先士另有在煤炭穴當需之物給以應用若不給以在煤炭穴
工人房屋並茶園與該工人居住無用該工人納租若有病痛不論該工人在醫館或不在醫館
之規條而行 七該工人每日若非遇病必要依例做足工夫另要聽本公司所立之督工人盼附前要遵從利布晏地方在任之督憲所允悅
粮每月到期仍在每月應得之工銀相同 五該工人每月到期定必交給工銀清訖若該工人意欲出些上期根銀必待每晌乃肯先出四分之三工銀與他所有先出之
八該工人照此約内章程情愿在本香港落船去利布晏地方恐口無憑依樣立合同二紙各執一紙存據
六該工人每日要做九點半鐘之工夫自早晨六點起做至十一點止又自下午一點起做至五點半止

for the first month (less thirty cents for each day he is absent from work,) and afterwards if approved by His Excellency the Governor of Labuan at the rate of ten cents per box of five piculs of clean Coal, with Miner's stores provided by the Company or thirteen cents per box of Coal exclusive of Miner's stores; that if the said

Twenty lawful days in succession, he is to be paid a premium of fifty cents; and if, in the same time he cuts one hundred boxes of Coal of five piculs each, he is to receive a premium of one dollar.
