the following conditions
14. we 398 in his reserving or holding hands Twenty five dollars ($25) of the earning of each month to work year Plantation or do any work that other Hand may be assigned to us by our Employer for the period of five years, beginning at the time we commence to work, to be paid by him to us in gold at the rate of Three Dollars per month of twenty six days, one half at the End of each month and the balance at the End of the said year.
The said Twenty five Dollars ($25) reserving as a guarantee to him faithful performance of this Contract, but to be paid to the undersigned on its being fully carried out not otherwise.
2nd Our passage to the United States and all advances amounting in gold and paid by our Employer we hereby obligate ourselves to pay out of our first wages or Earning together with any interest on such advances.
